Possibly the most practical head torch we've ever seen!

With numerous features all packed into this little beauty, we are seriously impressed with how this torch functions.

First of all, this torch is designed to fit to our latest Beesuit's with locator hoops on the Veil and bungee ties available here. Check out the picture of one fitted.

It has two different LED's - One with narrow beam that shines far into the distance and then a flood light that lightens up the whole immediate area in front of you. So whether you are looking into the distance or working on something close at hand you are covered. We should mention, having a flood light while working on something close at hand makes a massive difference - when wearing as a head torch your peripheral vision is in the light and when not on your head, you don't have to move it the whole time.

The long distance led is also on a swivel head so you can use it in your hand like a normal torch or swivel it round to use it on your head.

The flood light not only shines in White but in red, making it the perfect beekeepers head torch. Bees can't see red light at night!

The charge point is a normal usb connection of which is covered by the end cap of the torch ensuring this stays clean and functional. This end point also has a magnet on a swivel - great for attaching onto cars or anything magnetic.

Either torch will last about 1hr 30mins from full charge which we think is pretty incredible considering its compact size. Charging takes 2 hours on a 2A USB port so if your needing near constant light - grab two torches!

All of the beeswax used for this comb foundation is first heated to approximately 110 degrees Celsius before being micro filtered to remove all dross and moisture.  This ensures that when you buy our comb foundation, it is sterilised and you are only paying for pure beeswax. Because of its purity, it is not attacked by wax moths.

The bee hives with top entrances usually outperform other bee hives in two ways:

• There is less brood chamber congestion from honey.
• More surplus honey is stored in the honey supers.

This product incorporates an innovative entrance 120mm wide with a landing board. It comes with an entry guard included. If required, it can be fitted vertically to guard against wasps or inserted horizontally to block the entry when the bee hive is shifted.

• Each corner has four 38mm long galvanised staples. Very secure.
• The hardboard is oil tempered and smooth both sides. Durable and doesn’t get chewed by the bees.

The space under the hardboard on the shallow side is 8mm.

The air space on the deep side is 27.5mm.

Rim

Treated - This is where the wooden rim has been dipped in hot micro-crystalline wax prior to assembly. This makes it far more durable and longer lasting.

Untreated - The Russian Pine treat is left in its natural state untreated.

Stops mice and greatly reduces wasp damage. One hole is large enough to allow Drone movements.
