Wooden Section Comb Honey Frame

Kitset frames made to suit the wooden comb honey sections.
Fit in a Standard 1/2 Depth Box
4 section Frame - Fits 4 wooden sections. Fit maximum sections per frame.
Frames come with 4mm thick ply separator sheet to ensure the bees build the comb to uniform levels.
7 frames can be fitted per standard half depth super.
Alternatively you can use 5 of these section frames plus 3 standard Hoffman frames.
It is a good idea to draw out some standard Hoffman frames first then place them on outsides of the Super as bait frames to get the bees working in the super real quick.
Filler block are available on request if you want to do just 3 sections per frame rather than four. This can have been results in some cases.

Simply assemble your sections using the guide below and place the super on your hive — your bees will do the rest. Once capped, your honeycomb can be presented and sold straight from the wooden section for a rustic, eco-friendly look.

Cellophane bags for Wooden Sections

These gusseted Cellophane bags are our Eco friendly solution for packaging the Wooden Sections. 100% biodegradable. Pair well with our cardboard cartons to suit.
Seal with a hot iron (or similar). Gently heat the bag with a hot air blower (or similar) to shrink it down to a very tidy package.
Bag dimensions: 110x55x265mm, 19 micron thick.
