The strips are packed in bundles of 80 because that is the ideal number for each slot in the soaker crate. The soaker crates have 6 slots and can soak 480 strips at a time. Check out the video below for a comprehensive overview of our strips:

After the strips have been soaked, it is easy to lift out the rack full of strips and place in another 27 litre tub with drainer grate (751-0006)

After draining for 3 to 4 days, the rack can be added to a dry 27 litre tub, lid clicked on and taken away for inserting into beehives.

Acid Resistant Ziplock bag, perfect for storing 80 soaked cardboard strips.

The bag measures 305 x 440mm. 50 microns thick. Comes as singles or a pack of 100.

Once you have soaked your Beequip Strips, put them in these bags to keep it tidy and make them last longer.

This large 304 grade stainless steel heated tank makes it nice and easy to liquify up to 100kg of crystallized honey, or wax or anything that requires gentle heat!

The tank has an outer jacket which is filled with water or oil. The electric element heats the liquid in the outer jacket directly to provide a very safe and even heat to the contents inside the tank.

The tank holds up to 80 litres of liquid and can be heated close to 90 degrees. The tank has an outlet at the bottom. A ball valve comes as standard. You can also fit a honey gate, sold separately here.

The unit has an accurate and easy-to-use thermostatic controller. Adjustable from 30°C to 90°C where you set upper and lower limits. Simply set your upper and lower limit and the element will maintain the temperature between that setting. Once the jacket has heated to the desired temperature, the thermostat only supplies power to the heating element as it is needed to maintain the correct temperature.

Dimensions:- The tank is 510mm diameter plus any of the fittings on the side.  Height to the top of the tank is 630mm.
