Russian Pine Jumbo size Box with assembled Wooden Frames:

This listing is for:-

• 1 x Russian Pine Jumbo size Box. Standard grade.
• 10 x Jumbo size Russian Pine Frames with 33mm end bars and grooved bottom bars.
• 10 x sheets of Heavy Brood 266 Beeswax Foundation, fitted to the frames.

The box is screwed together with 28 stainless steel screws and will require painting or some form of weather protection. Russian Pine is very slow growing so the growth rings are close together to make a denser and more stable material for beehives.These boxes are excellent quality and have rounded outer edges on the front and back plates. This makes it easier to paint and it sheds the rain better.

Timber thickness of the box is 20mm.

Approximate internal dimensions of the box: 365mm x 465mm x 295mm high.

Made from High Density Russian Pine, they are very strong and will last for many years.

The top bar is secured with four 32mm staples at the top and a 20mm staple on each end. The bottom bars have a machined groove to locate the foundation and are secured with 32mm staples.

Jumbo Depth - Your Russian Pine frame will be 286mm high, assembled and wired with brass eyelets on the end bars. Jumbo depth is usually used as an option of having just one brood super. This size is the closest arrangement you can have to the bees natural hive size in the wild.

Frame Endbar Size:

33mm - Your Russian Pine frames will be assembled and have an endbar size of 33mm. 33mm Gives you plenty of space in the brood box with 10 frames giving you more flexibility on how you place your frames and also allowing for the wax and propolis build up on the frames. This is often used in brood chambers as they get clogged up the most.

The high density Russian Pine timber is very good for beehive boxes and is machined to exacting sizes. The end plates are radiused on the edges for comfort and to give better paint stickability.

The hand grips are all square cut so that box break tools can be used after a honey flow if necessary.

Branding is available on indent orders if ordered in pallet lots.

The internal dimensions of these supers are 365mm x 465mm wide.

The assembled boxes will come assembled with stainless steel screws.

Treatment:

Undipped - This means your high quality Russian Pine boxes are assembled with stainless screws but is in its natural state and will need some kind of protection from the weather.

Grade:

Standard - This means your Russian Pine boxes will be made from standard grade timber(Some call it commercial grade). Some Standard pieces may have some tight knots but usually no knots on edges and no pith.
