Our beeswax is sourced primarily from honey comb wax cappings. These are the wax cappings that are produced by the bees when storing their honey harvest. Each cell of honey is sealed. (Like we use caps on preserving jars) These premium beeswax caps are cut off by the beekeeper during the honey extraction process. See photo. This ensures we can supply beeswax that is of the very best quality!

The raw beeswax is sterilized and purified in our machine to remove any honey residues or dross, cast into easy to manage blocks, and sold by the kilogram.

How Should I Store My Beeswax?

Raw beeswax will remain solid at room temperature and does not spoil. It should be kept at a moderate temperature and can be covered with cloth or wrap to ensure it doesn’t become dirty or dusty.

If your wax is exposed to colder temps it may develop a powdery coating or outer layer. This can easily be removed by heating the outer layer of the wax and wiping the coating away.
